Details about Saturdays Race

Online Registration closes tonight at 9PM. You are still welcome to come sign up the day of but save $20 and sign up today. It looks like we are going to have another GREAT turnout, here is some more info about Saturday:

Check in- 7:30AM-8:30AM
Racers Meeting- 8:30AM
Elite Start- 9:00AM
Rec Start-9:02AM
Award ceremony/raffle/lunch to follow


Deep Creek will have Orange Crushes and Beer specials after so stay and hang out for a little after the race.

Sup Annapolis Rules for the Race:

1) Have fun
2) Bring water/Hydrate (we recommend a water pack but at least take a bottle with you, it will be hot)
3) MUST HAVE A PFD with you its not only our rules but its also the State of Maryland's rules
4) Be Careful (there will be plenty of safety boats on the course so if something doesn't feel right just stop! If you see somebody fall or get hurt stop and ask if they are OK)
5) Drafting is allowed but only by the same gender and board class (12'6 men can only draft 12'6 men etc)
6) Have fun
7) Hydrate before and during the race (all safety boats will have extra water on board)
8) Encourage people
9) Have fun
10) Don't be a JERK

The race course will be the same as last year (hopefully better weather). 5 miler's will do 2 laps and the 2.5 milers will do it once. This is the race course map, there will be 2  turns

If it is to rough or windy we will shorten the course to stay in the creek, safety is our number one concern.
