Wcc sup race april 23rd in DC!!

Another great race just got announced. This will be a great warm up for those of you who are thinking of making the trip to the Carolina Cup. Let us know if your interested and we can set up a caravan. Here is a note from the organizer


"Just wanted to let you know the web site for the Kumu'ohu Challenge is now online at www.washingtoncanoeclub.org/Racing/Kumuohu/ and we will be having a class for SUP again this year. The current plan is for the SUP course to be about 5 1/2 miles (9 km) with all the SUPs starting at 9:00. The women outrigger paddlers will start about 10 minutes after the SUPs.

As in previous years, we're asking people to sign up via the web site as soon as possible so we can get a head count for planning how much food we'll need, but we're not collecting race entry fees ($15) until the day of the event.

Please help spread the word, and I hope to see you on April 23!"
