Sup Annapolis/KIOCC Race Recap

First off I want to thank all the competitors for coming out and supporting our event. There were some really fast times and some heated battles especialy between the elite guys with Sven, Ron, Denny, Nathan, and Steve battling it out. There were also a lot of first time racers on the short course and to see them with big happy smiles when they crossed the finish line was awesome. Between Sup's, OC1's, OC2's, Surf Ski's we had over 130 paddlers making this our biggest event yet!!!

 I would also like to thank all the sponsors including Brad and Linda from Maui Jim/Shades of the Bay for coming out and putting up an awesome Maui Jim tent. Sup ATX for donating an awesome inflatable paddle board, Bill and Anne Gassett for bringing some sup atx boards for people to try and giving away some awesome Kill Cliff. Riviera paddle boards for donating some cool dvd's, paddle covers, t-shirts and hats. Mike from Dock Street Bar and Grill for some Gift Cards.Windspeed Logistics, Oc Sup & Fitness, Mantra fit, and Loop Rope for some awesome shwag. I'd also like to thank the Kent Island Yacht Club for letting us have the event there and for putting out an awesome food spread. And now probably the most important I'd like to thank all the volunteers who helped with set up, registration, timing, safety etc, we could not have done it without you. And lastly id like to thank Jim and Deb (two of the nicest people you will ever meet), this is the first year we teamed up with the KIOCC and it was an awesome partnership. Looking forward to doing more races with them in the future.
