"I have been paddling for over 3 years now. I have owned several high end carbon fiber paddles. I am on my 6th paddle. I started with two basic style carbon fiber paddles that were not the best quality. Then, I stepped up to a Kiola for surf and a Quick blade for touring/racing. I have since sold both of those to purchase a Ke Nalu. I started to have a shoulder problem at the beginning of this season and after switching to the Ke Nalu ( from the advice of Neil) and my own research, my shoulder stopped hurting during my paddles. My shoulder has not been and issue since the switch. Also, I feel this paddle allows for a much cleaner entry and exit from the water when used with proper paddle technique.
