"After testing out a Kenalu paddle from another Annapolis paddler, I made the switch over! My new Ke Nalu paddle is so light and helped me take a 1st place in the Paddle for Humanity! I also like the ability to choose different handles and different size blades, depending on the race at hand."

" love my KeNalu paddle! I have to say, it took some convincing to pry my original paddle out of my hands to even try the KeNalu but after having major shoulder surgery, a friend insisted that the little bit of flex plus the textured shaft would allow me to relax into my stroke and in doing so, allow me to do what I love without pain or risk of re-injury. He was right and I am forever thankful for it! I am fortunate enough to have three very high end paddles and each is amazing in its own way but if I had to choose just one to use for the rest of my paddling days, it would be the KeNalu"

"While I do love Ke Nalu paddles I have to say I love their customer service even more. They have been quick to correct any issue I have had even when I was to blame for contributing to some part of the problem. No matter whether I was dealing with a poorly cut shaft or a delaminating paddle blade, I contacted Ke Nalu seeking advice on how to best fix the issue. The response time was almost immediate! The solution was always very generous on their part. In a time when customer service seems to be a much ignored aspect of retail businesses, Ke Nalu absolutely shines. Ke Nalu takes care of their customers and seems to stand by their products 100%. They have a lifelong customer here. (And their paddles are so good that I would rather buy a Ke Nalu than get any other paddle for free!!)

"This paddle is DA BOMB. All the hype you have heard is NOT hype. Coming from an outrigger and now SUP background, I found this paddle's blade shape and shaft flex to be dialed in perfectly. It is also excellent for anyone with shoulder or joint issues, my symptoms disappeared once I started using a Ke Nalu, and they only "reappear" if I go back to one of my other paddles."

"I have been paddling for over 3 years now. I have owned several high end carbon fiber paddles. I am on my 6th paddle. I started with two basic style carbon fiber paddles that were not the best quality. Then, I stepped up to a Kiola for surf and a Quick blade for touring/racing. I have since sold both of those to purchase a Ke Nalu. I started to have a shoulder problem at the beginning of this season and after switching to the Ke Nalu ( from the advice of Neil) and my own research, my shoulder stopped hurting during my paddles. My shoulder has not been and issue since the switch. Also, I feel this paddle allows for a much cleaner entry and exit from the water when used with proper paddle technique. This is something I have been concentrating on lately. I even took a lesson with a well respected local top racer two weeks ago which was very informative. After changing my paddle technique, I am so impressed with the speed I am not generating using the Ke Nalu. It is the best paddle I have owned. It is extremely light but very durable too. Also. The ability to change the blade or shaft should something break, is an excellent feature and was a big reason for my purchase"
