Denny Grant

Some of you have already heard the news but for those of you who have not we are sad to say Team Rider Denny Grant will be moving back home to Cape Cod. Denny and his wife and kids decided to move back home where he is from and where all his family still is.

 Denny has become a huge part of the paddling community in Annapolis over the past 5 years and has become a great Friend and he will be missed. I remember meeting Denny when he first came to our race paddling a windsurfing board and winning the surf divisions. Somebody came up and said "if that long haired hippy looking guy gets on a race board we are all done", well sure enough he got on a 14' board and it was over haha.

Not only has Denny been a loyal friend, training buddy, and team rider (rocking our MD gear even though he is not from MD) he also has a yacht design background and is now making his own custom race boards. "Grant Paddle Co" is making some high end custom go fast race boards that are available in Maryland exclusively through Sup Annapolis. While he won't be around every week for our training paddles anymore and we won't get to hear him trash talk on a regular basis (which is hilarious), I am pretty sure we will still see him at a lot of races on the east coast.

Denny good luck on the move and remember even though your living on the cape your still a "Sup Annapolis Team Rider". You can't get away from the Orange Mafia haha. See you on the water!!!!
