The rain has FINALLY stopped!! I met up with the Kent Island crew today for a nice paddle back on Thompson Creek and got a good 4 miles in. The DC cleanup was canceled cause of debris but we will let you know when they reschedule. Sup Annapolis team rider John Colasito made the trip for the 12 mile wye island race and did it in 2 hours and 35, nicely done John send us pics if you have them. Later today I decided to go on the magothy to see how the water was and it was not pretty. Debris was everywhere in the water still from Irene, if you are boating or paddling be careful. There were a few logs out there that could put a hurting on a boat and even a board.






Great things ahead, including a local Sup Annapolis customer appreciation fun race and cookout for everybody who has bought paddles or boards from us. I will let you know a date as soon as we get it set.

We are also going to have our good friend and sponsored rider Doug Ellis from Virginia Beach down to Annapolis to do a race clinic. Doug is a dominate force on a paddle board and has lots of good tips and pointers. He is traveling to the west coast to compete this fall in a few races including the battle of the paddle, Doug has won a number of races on the east coast this summer. When he returns the end of sept we plan to do an hour on the water with Doug then go to a local restaurant and watch a slide show from Doug where he will also give race tips on equipment, technique, and race strategy etc. Spots will be limited so if you are interested let me know, if you are a beginner or a vet this will be beneficial for your racing.
