Had a great time at the Washington Canoe Clubs race this weekend in DC. Pretty cool paddling around there, the threat of weather and current kept a lot of the stand up guys away but it actually turned out to be a great day on the water. There was some current but overall nice and calm and the sun even came out for a little. The event was definitely a success! Sup Annapolis team rider Neil Macindoe took 1st(broke his paddle with a mile to go and had to finish on his knee's), I took 2nd, and team rider Brad Lewis took 4th. Due to the current they shortened the course to 4.5 miles but still a great warm-up for the Carolina Cup next week. Caravan is heading down to NC on Friday morning, still time to sign up!!
The above shots were from Brad and his wife. Thanks
Few shots below taken from Mark and Sara at East of Maui. Thanks for the pics guys!!
