Whats up guys, the weather was awesome this weekend. Hopefully everybody got a chance to get outside and do something active. Ben T, Brad L, Peter, Neil, and myself all got out Saturday mid day and paddled all of spa creek a few times. Did about 5 miles in total and got a great workout in. Then we hit up Heroes Pub for some wings and a few longboards. One of the best things about this sport is the camaraderie, I have met and become friends with so many awesome people these last two years through this sport. Its one of the few sports where anybody whether young or old, male or female, beginner or expert can all do together and have a blast. I also snuck out today by myself and got a few miles in, was the first time this year I was able to paddle in shorts (knock on wood it stays warm). Here are some pictures I got with my phone from yesterday and below is a drawling Sup Annapolis regular Brad Lewis's daughter Hanna drew of stand up paddlers, she is gonna be a great paddler in the years to come.

Happy to see that you are training! Carolina Cup is looking good. Many big boys & girls have called Beausang to say they were coming! Maybe we will see you at Biathalon. If not then bring the whole gang to the cup. We have been paddling the graveyard every week. So keep stroking. Hope to see you guys soon. -Craig
ReplyDeleteWhats up Craig, good to hear from you. Don't think we can make the Biathalon but we will def be there for the cup. Should have at least 5 guys makin the trip hopefully more. The ice is finally gone around here so hopefully we can start to get some good training in now! Talk to you soon
