Wow what a trip!

So I didn't think it was possible to become any more addicted to stand up then I already am, but after this weekend it happened. What an awesome weekend, met some really cool people and cant wait till the next race. It was super cool to race with over 100 people who are all into sup as much as you are, not to mention what a humbling experience to see how good some of the elite paddlers are! The sport is blowing up on the east coast now, only bigger and better things to come. Here are some pics I took, I will post more as some of the guys send them to me. I also got some video footage I will put together and post on here as soon as I can. And to the 6 sup Annapolis guys that made the trip thanks for coming, I had a blast with all of you and cant wait till the next one.

Elise and Ian from Paddle DC made the trip as well, good to see some other people from the area making the trip!



We had a few hours after the race before the award ceremony so hit up the beach and rode some knee knockers. Not big but better then nothing and had to take advantage of the warm weather.






Coastal Urge put on a good dinner and award ceremony. Naptown local Neil Macindoe finished 2nd in the 14' rec class and won a free paddle, way to go Neil.
